Khader Ahmad was born in Lebanon and raised in Berlin, Germany. His clear and brilliant way of playing together with his sensitivity have made him one of the most requested percussionists throughout Europe. He has worked with popular Arabic singers and musicians such as Ahmad Adawea, Mohammed Mounir, Cheb Khaled and the legend Magdy Al Husseini.
In 2012, he founded the band “RAQSA”, specializing in music of oriental dance. In 2014, he started a project named “DUM TAK Revolution” which combines traditional Arabic music with modern electronic pop, Shaabi and belly dance. Khader has multiple music releases and was the main composer for the drum solos in Bellydance Evolution’s Fantasm show.
Jrisi Juskaos is a passionate artist who has dedicated her life to dance. With extensive experience in cross cultural and traditional dance forms of Raqs Sharqui, she has carved out a unique style that is both captivating and recognisable. She is the artistic director and creator of Hathor Dance Theatre, a sought-after teacher, performer, producer, choreographer and international sponsor.
Separating her from other performers, Jrisi is also one of the only professional oriental dancers in Australia to hold a Bachelor of Dance from UWS, majoring in choreography. She trained extensively in Western dance styles like contemporary, jazz and ballet, fusing this experience with Raqs Sharqui, Flamenco, Latin and Classical Indian movement styles, which makes her one of the most experienced and sought-after artists on offer. She’s an award-winning dancer receiving 3 choreographic dance commissions in Contemporary/Raqs Sharqui Fusion works.
Jrisi’s Raqs Sharqui career spans 25 years; in that time she has flown around the world developing, training and researching the dance with master teachers. She is one of Australia’s first Raqs Sharqui artists to obtain an Australian Council for the Arts dance grant for professional development in both Raqs Sharqui Bellydance and Western Dance forms in USA, Egypt, Lebanon and Germany. Her primary mentors throughout many years have been Dr Mo Geddawi, Mahmoud Reda, Mdme Raqia Hassan and Yousry Sharif.
Most recently Jrisi has invested in international sponsorship to bring master teachers to Australian. Giving opportunities for Australian dancers to further develop and experience different techniques and performance skills. She has sponsored international guests such as Jillina, Bozenka, Tamlyn Dalala, Hadia, Kaeshi Chai.
She has also produced ground breaking International Bellydance Theatre shows such as Bellydance Evolution’s “Dark Side of the Crown” and Bellyqueen’s “Journey Along the Silk Road” (Sydney Tour). This adds up to 25 theatre shows that she has produced since 2001.
Adding to her range of experience Jrisi had the opportunity to work closely with talented Arabic Musicians for the last 15 years and has produced 3 training DVDs which feature original compositions and have sold worldwide. She has taught in Singapore and toured 3 cities in Japan for workshops and performances. She continues to share her love of dance with bellydance communities around Australia.
As a versatile dancer, Jrisi is invited as featured artists in 3 live music ensembles such as Davood Trabizi and the Far Seas, Flamenco Red and Masha’s Legacy. In her 14th year of running the popular Annual Summer Intensive Dance Program, Jrisi continues to pave the way for the new generation of dance artists to train, develop and create and raise the profile of Oriental dance with mainstream audiences.
Ruslan Kurlovich has been dancing since he was six years old with different folk dancing groups and studios. Ruslan participated in many international competitions and festivals in Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Bulgaria, Belorussia and Slovakia.
In 2010 he entered the Jazeps Vitols Latvian Music Academy and graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Choreography and Teacher of Classical Dance.
Ruslan danced in Indra’s Reinholde Chamber Ballet troupe from 2011 till 2015. He took part in such acts as Clowns Diaries, Light and Ashes, Sister-World, Paris Songs, Games of Imagination. He has also actively participated in the cultural life of Riga and Latvia for many years.
Ruslan has performed in theatrical and musical plays such as Sold Laughs, Little Prince, Esslingen, Herberts.Cukurs.Herberts and many others.
Since 2014 he has performed in plays at the Operetta Foundation such as The Merry Widow and Ball at Savoy and with the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre.
Kapua’s passion and natural ability to entertain and perform began at an early age. He started his formal dance instruction at the age of 9 with the Polynesian dance group Otea Api of Fremont, CA. Shortly after starting his Tahitian training, Kapua began hip hop dance instruction with Mission Dance & Performing Arts. After moving to Las Vegas in 2005 he joined Culture Shock LV.
In October of 2007, Kapua was selected as a dancer to join Cirque Du Soleil’s The Beatles Love Show at the Mirage. After 4 years with Cirque, Kapua moved on to create his own dance school, Rare Artistry, directing his focus purely on the community and spawned a passion for giving back through his craft of dance.
As the journey continues for Kapua, he now resides full time in Los Angeles pursuing his ambitions in the entertainment industry. He is full at heart, with complete gratitude, for the endless support and belief he has always received from his family since his journey began.

Margarita is one of the most celebrated dancers and teachers in Latvia. Known for her flawless technique and elegant style, Margarita has been dancing since the age of five and has a strong background in classical ballet. In 2002 she discovered belly dance and has been charmed ever since.
Margarita has completed a variety of dance education programs including the classes of leading Egyptian master-teachers. In 2012 she completed the Riga Teacher Training and Educational Management Academy specializing in Dance and Rhythm and in 2014 received a Master’s degree in “Dance Pedagogy”.
Margarita is a winner of multiple Belly Dance competitions including: “Miss Oriental” Riga, Latvia, “Baltic Cup” Vilnius, Lithuania,“Oriental World Cup” Limassol, Cyprus, “Azure Festival” Riga, Latvia, “The Queen of the Pyramid” Riga, Latvia, “Oriental weekend Portugal”, Lisbon, Portugal, “Heshk Beshk” Bari, Italy, “Cairo Khan” Cairo, Egypt, “Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition” Los Angeles, United States and others.
Having performed with Bellydance Evolution all over Europe, United States and Asia, Margarita was the understudy for Heather Aued on their 5 week Netherlands Tour in 2013. In 2015-2016 Margarita was cast in a number of lead roles in their production of Alice in Wonderland. She performed the roles of the Cheshire Cat in Rome, Italy, and the Queen of the Hearts in Marrakesh, Morocco and during the 28-city tour of China. She is excited and humbled to be the main character of Scheherazade in Bellydance Evolution’s “Fantasm – 1001 Nights” show.
Born in Mexico City, with a Degree in Graphic Design and a Master’s degree in “Mass Communication and Art Direction”, Luna Poumian is trained in ballet, synchronized swimming, hip hop and contemporary dance. It was in 2007 when she got involved with Middle Eastern dance that she found her true passion.
She has graduated from the school of Bellydance, “Belly Gym”, as a professional dancer and bellydance instructor. In 2015 she finished, with great success, Munique Neith’s certification program for performers and instructors of Oriental dance.
Luna continues to build a strong resume of certificates and record of studies, awards and collaborations on both a national and international level. She is grateful for being part of Jillina’s company “Bellydance Evolution” (2014 – current), as well as “Munique Neith’s International Ballet” (2016 & 2017) and Virginia Mendez’s company and production “Reflections” (2016 – current). She has also achieved national and international awards in the fields of Oriental, Cabaret, Egyptian Folklore and Fusion.
In 2017 she undertook her project “Casa Luna” Dance Home, as a space for teaching, practice and experimentation of movement as a form of expression. She is currently an Art Director, Professional Dancer, Choreographer, Instructor and Director of her own dance school.
Performer, Master Instructor, Choreographer, Director and Producer, Jillina has devoted her life to dance.In 1999 Jillina established her own dance company, Jillina’s Sahlala Dancers, currently LA’s premier Middle Eastern and world fusion dance entertainment company. From 2003-09 she served as Artistic Director and Main Choreographer for the Bellydance Superstars and performed with them for over 700 shows.
In 2009 Jillina created Bellydance Evolution with the goal to take Middle Eastern dance to a higher level world-wide. After the success of touring 3 original productions from 2009-2016, Jillina & Bellydance Evolution were commissioned to create “Le Voyage de Scheherazade” a multi-national, multi-discipline collaboration with the Orchestra Philharmonique de Maroc.Jillina pulls from a strong dance background in Middle Eastern, Folklore, Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop to create a colorful Middle Eastern fusion repertoire.
She travels extensively, teaching seminars and performing in concerts. Jillina’s talents have taken her to over 30 different countries. Whether Jillina is coaching dancers individually or teaching a group of 1,000 students, she has a special ability to connect with people on and off the dance floor.
Jillina has won numerous awards from International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance and the Giza Academy, including Best Modern Egyptian Dancer, Best Instructional Video, Best Dance Company and Dancer of the Year. Jillina has appeared on several television programs, including, “Dancing with the Stars”.
Jillina is the owner of Evolution Dance Studios, located in North Hollywood, California, USA. The studio provides rehearsal space to some of Hollywood’s top artists.
